We found this little guy along the base of our wrought iron fence this afternoon. He was on the wetland side of our property, and had probably hopped across from the lake. We studied him for a bit, then put him back in the brush by the lake so he’d have some cover.

Weird wildlife

Back in May, two humpback whales appeared in the river behind our home.
This morning, there were goats totally covering the levee! They’re being used to mow the weeds, and can apparently mow down anything in record time.
